ORGANISERS
CCPIT
SUB-COUNCIL OF CHEMICAL INDUSTRY (CCPIT CHEM)
Founded in July 1990, CCPIT Sub-Council of Chemical
Industry aims at promoting trade, economic and
technology cooperation between China and the rest of the
world. By organizing domestic and international
exhibitions and technological conferences, we provide
platforms for chemical companies to show their products
& updated technology and conduct trade & cooperation.
Each year we organize more than 30 exhibitions and
conferences inside and outside of China.
Among which,
China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection
Exhibition (CAC) after 11-year development has made
itself the largest annual brand trade platform of the
world agrochemical industry, and a grand occasion
indispensable for the world agrochemical circles. Based
on serving the industry and our member companies, we
will make the best effort to promote the development of
chemical industry.

The Pesticides
Manufacturers & Formulators Association of India (PMFAI)
was formed to unite generic industrialists and other
manufacturers and formulators for the purpose of
increasing agricultural production and competitiveness
throughout the country. The Pesticides Formulators
Association of India came into existence in the year
1967 and its name was subsequently changed in 1997 to
Pesticides Manufacturers & Formulators Association of
India (PMFAI).
The mission of the PMFAI is to promote innovation in
formulations technology and environmentally sound use of
crop protection / public health products so as to ensure
high quality and abundant food and fire for the growing
population in the Indian sub-continent.
Through programs, projects, reports and other
activities, the PMFAI seeks to foster cooperation
amongst its members to foment generic manufacturing,
product formulation and distribution for the benefit of
the country. |

Market Background
China
continuously growing pesticide output reached a
record-high 2.26 million tons in 2009, with 12.3% up
comparing with the year before. China pesticide export
increased 4.7% in 2009 and it has been exceeding import
for years. China has ranked herself as the world largest
pesticide production and export base.
Due to the rapid growth of pesticide industry in recent
years, India has become the world's fourth largest
producer of pesticides. With increasing market demand
resulting from the expanding population, India will
continue to keep the
growing
momentum in the future, expecting to maintain an average
increase rate of 7.6% from 2007 to 2014 and reaching a
market value of $27 billion in the year of 2014.
Due to its advanced pesticide formulations technology,
India annually imports $300 million of pesticides and
intermediates from China for formulations processing;
the complementary upstream and downstream industry chain
makes trade & cooperation between the two countries have
great opportunities and market potential.
